New Enhanced Kinase Knowledgebase Released
San Diego, CA (June 20, 2007) –Eidogen-Sertanty has announced the
next quarterly release of its Kinase Knowledgebase (KKB) with the addition of over 30K new data points and support for two new Oracle database cartridges.
Eidogen-Sertanty's KKB is the highest-quality kinase knowledgebase available containing biological activity data, structure-activity relationships (SAR), and chemical synthesis data surrounding protein kinases - one of the most therapeutically important classes of drug targets.
The KKB now contains over 283,000 SAR data points spanning over 360 kinase targets curated from over 3100 journal articles and patents. The overall number of unique small molecule structures in the KKB is now greater than 440,000.
With this release, new support for Elsevier MDL's Iscentris® Direct 6.0 cartridge and Accelrys' Accord Chemistry Cartridge is available. In addition, new structure-activity ASCII exports with example Pipeline Pilot® protocols to extract and build target-specific QSAR models are available for download.
